Tanner, Pederesen, & Harshbarger Receive MWAC Honors

QUINCY, Ill. – The Midwest Athletic Conference released their All-Conference selections for the 2025-2026 season, the Lady Blazers nabbed 3 nominations this year as they placed 6th in their conference seeding. 

1st Team All MWAC Conference - Elizabeth Tanner

Elizabeth Tanner appeared in 49 Elizabeth Tanner appeared in 49 games and had 145 at bats. The lefty first baseman was able to average .366 and hitting 11 home runs, along with 55 RBI's on the season. She ended her defense fielding percentage with .953 average and 9 double plays.

2nd Team All MWAC Conference - Jordan Pedersen

Jordan Pedersen appeared in 45 games and had 136 at bats. The Catcher/3B received 2nd All MWAC carrying a .404 batting average and never droppnig below .351 once conference play started. Pedersen led the team in BA and was a machine on the field. 

Honorable Mention All MWAC Conference - Abby Harshbarger

Abby Harshbarger appeared in 44 games and had 122 at bats. The starting 2nd Baseman for the last two years for the Lady Blazers received Honorable Mention MWAC ending her career with the Blazers with a .311 BA. The now lefty slapper and 2nd baseman had a fielding percentage of .905 with 7 double plays.
